Max Zuleta


Max Zuleta (Zice) is the conceptual visionary and master sculptor of ABZE. Self taught, Max began his unique style of ice sculpting back in 1989. After successfully creating his sculpting business in Venezuela and the Caribbean Islands, he continued his pursuit of developing some of the worlds most advanced ice sculpting techniques. He has since performed in numerous countries throughout North and South America and Europe and has obtained several prestigious awards, including at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics, First place at Winterlude in Ottawa (Canada) and at the Ice Hotel in Quebec.

Other highlights of Max's master artwork have been displayed from Ice Pagodas in the oil fields of Venezuela, Royal ice thrones in Lake Forest Illinois, to a 20 ton and 30 feet tall replica of a Spanish Basilique in Germany. Max currently leads his cutting edge ice sculpting company "Art Below Zero" servicing Chicago, Milwaukee and the whole wide world. His style is a compilation of worldly techniques he's mastered, combined with his own eclectic and artistic perspective, progressively creating a amazing ice sculptor and performer.
